Friends, I would like to introduce you to Navi. She was adopted on my birthday, back in August. She started out being very helpful around town. She has just recently been to Texas and California and truly earned her place in our family. She is a very hardworking gal and we took advantage of her a lot in California! She definitely likes to be in the know as to what's going on and where we're going. She gets very annoyed when we have unexpected/unplanned potty breaks or have to get gas.
Thanks to her, I didn't have to navigate with a map at all. In fact, we didn't even take our Atlas on this trip. And we didn't miss it, either. And there was no arguing or getting frustrated as to which way to go. No, "Jaime, which way am I supposed to go?" "I don't know, give me a second..." "I don't have a second!" And no "Wake up, Jaime. I need you to look at the map and see..." Nope. None of that.
I love you navi! Welcome to the family. I hope we all live a long happy life together!

i thougth on twitter you said meet my 'Navel' but spelled it funny...I am dumb.
Hmmm...haven't had the pleasure of using a navigation system. Lucky you!
Does she have different voices to choose from?! My friend has one that has an australian man's accent... it's hillarious taking directions from him! I think I need one!
our's is named Maggie. aka Mags the Hags when she is requesting us to make a "legal u-turn"
we wouldn't even think of venturing into California without her!
welcome to the family navi!
i still use an old school map. well, unless my husband is with me, than we use his phone/computer/pda/do-it-all in the palm of your hand device :)
the navigation system I had freaked me out.. all I need in my life is another person barking orders at me.. lol
I am glad you enjoy yours..
this will def change ur life. i worked on the OnStar design time for a number of years and we always called the voice veronica...and i felt like i really knoew her after all the convo's we had!
Im thinking I need to get me one. Do you HIGHLY recommend Miss Navi?
Hello Navi. Nice to meet you.
Both of our cars have navigation now. It is a whole new world when you never have to wonder where you are and how to get where you're going.
Welcome to the family, navi! Your family, of course, but still :).
Didn't get to chat with you at #gno last night, but was glad to see you won a prize and participated in our Topic Talk today over on http://mommygossip-gno.blogspot.com.
Can you believe how big it has all gotten since our very first time??? FUNNY!
Funny post. I don't have a navi, but I used my sis-in-law's when I was babysitting their kids this summer back East. LOVED IT!
HAH! I need one of those!!
I have got to get one of these. Maybe for a Christmas present for my husb.
Found you through Angie's blog. I have twins too. You have a darling family.
I had a Navi in a rental car on a recent trip. We laughed because if I veered from the course to say..stop for a rest break Navi would say...you have gone the wrong way, turn around. I did like it that Navi told me what was coming up ahead. We made it through Oregon with it and the trip could not have gone better!
Great, aren't they? Except for the annoying voice.
Hi there! I'm running around the blogosphere saying hi to all the #gno ladies! Looking forward to next Tuesday!
These things are funny. Everyone in my city has one and they're on all the time...makes me wonder how they got around town before they were available.lol! If it has an Australian man's accent, maybe I should get one, too. That's sexy!
