My Babies Are Growing Up! (sniff, sniff)

My girls are getting so big, it's crazy! They talk constantly!! Every night I am rushed by two little cuties yelling "Pooprush, pooprush!" What, you don't know what that means? Well, I'll give you a hint, they are toting their toothbrushes when they do this. Heehee. Cracks me up. They also sing a lot these days. They sing "A B C D E B G, a time a sing with me." And they have discovered Barney and like to belt out his song as well, "I love you, I love me!" Repeated about 30 times. They also love Sesame Street, Dora and Diego, of course.
I am debating starting them in preschool. I know they would LOVE it. They pick up on things so quickly. Every day now, after my boys go to school, the girls put their shoes and coats on and tell me, "Bye mom! I go a school!" I didn't do any preschool with Parson and I only did a year with Josh. I already know which preschool I would use and I know it's WONDERFUL! Do any of you put your kids in preschool for 2 years?

Thanks for all of your questions on my last post! I am working on getting them answered!

Pooprush!! I love it! They are getting so darn big! Such cuties too!

Luke has been in pre-school for two years and has one more year he can go. I never thought I would put my two year old in pre-schoool, but that is just the kind of kid he is. He loves it! If you think they are ready (and you are ready :) I say, why not???

So cute!!! I love the way little kids say things! :)

I've never put my kids in preschool but I think I should have put the twins in... I need to work on a ton of stuff before they start kindergarten in the fall. :)

Wow, I can't believe how good they are talking! Olivia will be in preschool for 2 years, because she needs the special help. If it were totally up to me (and me being selfish), I probably wouldn't because I will miss her way too much. But hey, I can always volunteer. :0)

Luke started preschool at 3 yrs old and will go to the same preschool in the fall. He loves it there (its a very play-based preschool). My twins are going in the fall, too. They're only 2 so they'll only go one day a week and I stay with them the whole time...its a mommy and me thing, but it gets them used to the building and the classroom and the teachers. The preschool has been great for Luke. He can count up to 25, knows the alphabet, he recognizes small words, spells his name, does easy math....pretty good for 4 yrs old. I do a lot at home with him to reinforce what he's learning. He also plays games on the computer (at PBS.org and Noggin) and they help, too, because many of the games are learning games.

I really was never one to think preschool was a good thing because I wanted my kids at home with me (I had a little trouble letting go, I'd say!). But, I love his school and am glad I sent him.

My kids both went to 2 years of a Christian Pre-School. At age 3 they go Tuesday and THursday. At age 4 they go Monday, Weds, and Friday. Just for 2 1/2 hours. It is great prep for Kindergarten. My son was much further ahead of the other kids. The twins will go to the same one when they are old enough.

I would recommend it for sure. :)

Very Cute. I put Kaylanee in preschool for 2 years, she loves it. I'm debating still about Braiden. He needs to go I think. I don't know.

I love hearing little kids say their ABC's. So cute!

My girls will be going to preschool for 2 years. This was their 1st year and they are 3, then they will go to pre-k next year for 4year olds. It started out rough for them, but they love it now.

I feel you. I seems like in the last year my girls have just matured so much. I feel your sadness :)

They are getting SOOOO big! How is potty training going? I have not been blogging too much lately because we are trying to get the house ready for the realtor Saturday.

Anyways... yes, I highly recommend preschool. All my kids go at 3 for the Tues/Thurs preschool. its 6 hrs a week. Then the next yr they go MWF for 9 hours. I was hesitant at first with my oldest thinking he NEEDED to be home with me... but then I thought... It's SIX hours. I had planned to send the twins one day a week in the fall to a Mothers Morning Out program (they'll still be 2) but we are moviung so I don't know what is available in FL.

Think of it as a bonus for you to get all your errands done so that when they are with you, you can be WITH them, KWIM?

I have to tell you I saw the picture and was startled... They look SO much like you!!! Gorgeous little girls you have there!!!

Gabby will be in preschool for 2 years. we have seen so much growth. She talks all the time (which is different with the issues with Joey's speech) they sing and dance at school and she LOVES it! She plays with other kids and learns to SHARE! Best decision we have made for her and I do not regret it one bit!

I can't believe how big they are getting. I have always done one year of preschool but we are doing two with the twins. This year was their first and they have one more next year.
