Wordful Wednesday

Wordful Wednesday is brought to you by Angie at 7ClownCircus:

This is what can happen if you let your 2 year old jump on the trampoline with your 7 year old.

And trust me, you do NOT want this to happen!
(As a sidenote, because I know you're all wondering, I was standing about 4 feet away from her when this happened. There was no collision whatsoever. She got bounced, her legs buckled, and she went down. That's all it took.)

Love this Wordful Wednesday post. So sorry about the trampoline mishap but the picture is precious. Girl rule: Must coordinate clothing with cast!

Came over from Wordful Wednesdays! Oh my gosh, it's hard seeing a little one in a cast. Hope she is getting better each day.

Poor thing! My son just got his cast/boot off a couple weeks ago from falling down the stairs and he was so relieved so I can only imagine how your little girl is feeling!

Oh that totally stinks! Poor little girlie. How long does she have to have the cast on? At least it was at the end of summer :)

Oh no! Poor little thing. I hope she is taking it well with the cast and all.
I probably needed to see that since my two year old is frequently jumping on the trampoline with my friend's older kids.

Poor kid! I guess it'll be easier to tell them apart.

My stomach turned when I saw this. My kids have been jumping at the neighbors and it gives my the willies to watch. I think we are all done with the trampolines now! Poor girl.

Oh no! As soon as I saw the picture I was thinking that she he probably "took her bounce". That's what we called it growing up when you come down at different times and when you land the "bounce" is gone and you have to bend you knees and just sort of go like spaghetti or get jerked or buckled to a broken bone. She looks adorable in a cast though! Now there's a fashion statement!

It looks like you've been busy. Hopefully, things go smoothly. Good luck, hopefully see you soon.

Oh my! THANKS so much for still being there after my nightmare of an August month! About 80% unpacked...that is... of the stuff I actually intend to unpack!

And Whahoo internet back up TODAY!

holy crap on the leg? Same thing with us. 4 year old on tramp, nothing strange, just broke her lower leg just below the knee. We kept em off tramps after that...but ahem, they slowly migrated back to neighbors and such!

Good luck! Looks like you got the waterproof kind?

Oh dear! Jaime that must have really been terrible! Hugs to your little one. That is so sad. I cannot believe how easy it broke!

I'm sorry to hear that happened to her. Poor baby. Hope she heals quick (and that she likes her cast). Olivia liked hers when she broke her arm, she pounded it on everything. Good luck!

Oh! Man! I keep getting warned about this.

I do have to say, if I was going to get a cast, I would want it to look like that. I know it isn't fun to have a cast, so I am not saying how awesome it is in that way, it just looks cool!

BTW: Thanks for stopping by my blog to gossip with me the other day. I appreciated your comment.

Oh my gosh, how long does she have to wear the cast. Poor girl!
I think we'll be staying away from trampolines!

Oh no!!! I do love how she is rockin' the purple cast though.

The worst part is she cant stand to have different shoes. She screamed for an hour because she wanted to wear matching shoes.

yikes - we have a trampoline & many times all 5 of our kids are on it = now I'll be paranoid. and with good reason. so cute that she is sitting there with a full leg cast & a smile on her face. prayers for a quick healing.

oh no, the poor little girl.

How's she coping with the cast on?

Love the color co-ordination.

I'm just about a week late with getting to this, but OH NO. I can't imagine how heartbreaking that must have been, and how difficult everything becomes while the cast is on. I hope she's doing ok....and that you and Matt are hanging in there :)
