Goodbye Ear Infections!

That is our hope, anyway. The girls have had so many over the past year. And especially the past few months! Between the two of them, we have been in the doctors office weekly. Any of you that have experience with ear infections know how miserable life can be, x2 no less! Not to mention how the copays have added up with all the visits and prescriptions!
Wednesday morning Abbie and Ellie had tubes put in their ears. The doctor also looked at their adenoids and decided they needed to come out. It was a long day, but we all survived. Now we are just crossing our fingers that they will have healthy ears for a while.

Have you ever tried Amber Teething Necklaces? They are supposed to act as an anti-inflamitory I think. I've heard a mom say that her sons chronic ear infections stopped when he was wearing his necklace. Plus, they're super cute!

I found your blog through the photo contest, in case you were wondering!

Hi, I found your blog through the photo contest, too. My daughter, now 6, had chronic ear infections from very early on. Once she even had a double ear infection that caused a high fever which brought on a febrile seizure. When she wasn't even 3 yet, On Nov. 5 2004, she had her tonsils and adenoids taken out. Three years later she has never had another ear infection. Good Luck. By the way, I'm a twin and have younger twin sisters. I'd like to get to know you better.
